UX research & design

Design with the user as the starting point. You may be looking for someone who will build your website and immediately think of a web designer.

But the right step would be to first work out the best UX design based on research.

  • Who are your customers?
  • Where do they come from?
  • Wat are they doing?
  • How are they feeling?
  • Which products and / or services are interesting for the customer?

We are happy to help you find these answers.

  • Do you also want our designers to design a new design?
  • Do you want an app or website that converts well?

Our designers are happy to think along with you! Contact us and we will be happy to schedule an informal conversation with you. Tell us your wishes and who knows we can help you achieve your goals.

What is UI and UX design

UI design

UI designer or user interface designer is someone who designs the interface of a website (or other digital environment).

  • The goal is to realize a design that is as user-friendly as possible.
  • The user interface is also referred to as the user environment: in fact it forms the link between user and system.
  • The design of a web page is an example of an interface.
  • UI design is aimed at designing this interface in such a way that an optimal user experience is created.

UX design concept

The UX stands for User Experience. Very briefly: UX design ensures that your user has the best experience on your website, it is more about the total user experience, while the UI designer focuses on the interface and the visual designer takes care of the visual expressions.

The role of the interaction designer (who investigates the interaction between systems and people) also has similarities with that of the user interface designer.

UX a profession in itself

UX design is a profession in itself, with many facets. It is not a temporary trend that continues after a few months. No, UX design is of great importance in a website or application. A good UX design ensures that the user can navigate through your website in a clear and simple way.

Our team is constantly busy creating websites and apps based on the different facets within UX design.

  • We think about the needs of a user and work from that starting point.
  • A satisfied visitor is more likely to proceed with a purchase or write a positive review.

More than just fun colors

A UX design consists of more than a number of fun colors. A good UX design ensures that users can browse your website in a pleasant way. No ambiguities, frustrations or weird buttons. Imagine that you click on a button that does nothing. Or that you click on a menu item and you end up on a 404 page. This is disastrous for the user experience.

User Experience Design always has the user as the starting point. What does a user want? We want to show users as few annoying pop-ups as possible, a clearly positioned menu, well-matched colors and clear blocks.

Of course, we as designers always keep up with the latest trends. What trends are playing this year and is it interesting to apply them to our projects?

Extensive investigation

Before our designers can get started with the design, a number of things need to be clarified.

For example, what will be the target audience that will visit the future website?

  • If your target group consists mainly of people over 65, the design will be tailored accordingly. You can think of a larger font and clear buttons of the right format. Then someone with a disability or worse eyes can easily find his way on your website.
  • Are you helping a young target group? Then we provide the right visual language. For example, with flashy videos, a font that supports your statement and targeted online interaction options

We are curious about the challenge, challenge us! Then contact us (Messenger, [email protected], 0320 - 280 327 or contact form, which you like!) And then we can see what we can do for each other.

Don't lose customers

Some websites consist largely of information pages. Users want to be able to quickly find the information they are looking for. Look again at your own user experience. If you do not find what you are looking for quickly, do you search further or click on the following website? There is a good chance that you will click away from the website - unless you are already a customer and want to arrange something.

On informative websites, it is therefore very important that clear search functionality is built-in. The search bar must be in a place that can be found quickly. Of course, the search functionality itself must also function properly. This way the visitor to the website can get to the right page in no time. Exactly what you and the user want!

What should a good UX design meet? In fact, we cannot summarize this briefly. As designers, we always keep 4 for points in mind when designing. Every app or website that we make is:

  • Easy to use
  • Nice to see
  • Easy to understand
  • Effective for the purpose (conversion-oriented)
