Collaboration with the Esplai Foundation
The Esplai Foundation, led by Cristina Páez Cívico, approached us with the question, whether we were open to offering opportunities to people who, for a variety of reasons, experience difficulty to become or stay employed. This foundation is dedicated to the training and employment field and helps people finding work.
An inspiring meeting
It was a great surprise that 20 motivated candidates registered for a meeting at our office in Málaga. Raul and Florindo were present to welcome the candidates. The turnout was much larger than expected, we almost needed a microphone to address the group. The enthusiasm and determination of these people were inspiring and gave us extra motivation to commit to this initiative.
The next steps
The candidates will send their CVs to us, after which we will carefully evaluate them. Although English language skills are a requirement, we look forward to finding the right matches and organizing introductory conversations. Our goal is to give these talented candidates an opportunity within our company.
Our success story in the Netherlands
In the Netherlands we already have positive experiences with integrating people who are distanced from the labor market. These employees make valuable contributions and enrich our team with their diverse perspectives and experiences. We want to bring this success to our branch in Málaga as well.
An inclusive future
The meeting in Málaga has strengthened our belief that inclusivity and diversity are essential. We would like to support more people in their search for work. At Toomba, the doors are always open to motivated people who deserve an opportunity.
We remain committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels welcome and valued. Together, we work towards a future where everyone has the opportunity to realize their potential.
