Why going to Web Summit 2022?
Web Summit has become an annual phenomenon, this year was its 7th edition. Companies from all over the world went big, and did everything they could to be in the spotlight. Stand after stand was proudly exhibited with the latest technological developments. The Web Summit also offers visibility for start-ups, where they can pitch their ideas to visitors (many of whom are investors). In addition, there was a huge range of lectures, workshops and master classes on several different subjects, where we also gained a lot of inspiration and knowledge.

Special networking events
We were invited to a special network meeting by Margriet Leemhuis, the Dutch Ambassador to Portugal, for “Get in touch, with the Dutch” at Palácio do Conde d’Óbidos. We’ve had very interesting discussions with various Dutch organizations and business partners. It is always nice to exchange experiences and new ideas with fellow Dutch entrepreneurs during an international event.
The future in one place
It is great to see how fast technology is developing and to see it playing such a crucial role in the world. The technological support of the circular economy, sustainable food production, carbon trading through the use of artificial intelligence, blockchain and much more was presented and discussed extensively.
