Earning points with sports, fair play and community contributions
Street League Lelystad is about more than just winning; the goal is to promote sportsmanship and community initiatives. Teams earn points by winning matches, but also through fair play, community contributions, and participation in extra sports activities. This setup contributes to a positive attitude and strengthens social ties within the community. With our technical support, it has become possible to manage participation, team setup, and scoring effortlessly, allowing the organization to focus on the enjoyment and growth of the children.
From idea to reality
To make this possible, we built a versatile and user-friendly website using the latest solutions in WordPress, PHP, and front- and back-end development. We integrated the form builder GravityForms to automate registrations, team setups, match reports, and scoring. Automatic email notifications have also been set up, so participants receive immediate updates about team status, approved activities, and updated scores.
Smart solutions
For our developers, this project was not only a great opportunity to create something unique, but also a technical challenge to automate various processes. Group assignments, match scheduling, and data management required smart solutions and precision. Our team thoroughly enjoyed working on this project, with a passion for soccer adding extra motivation to create something valuable.
